Krystal has now finished her season of spring soccer. I think she really enjoyed this season. Her team did really well and she almost scored her first goal. Yeah Krystal! Now it's time to get ready for softball. I hope she has as much fun.

So it's been awhile since we have blogged. We have been really busy with dance competitions and soccer as well as all the normal everyday stuff. For the first dance competition the girls went over to my friends house and got their hair and make up done by my friends teenage daughters. They had a lot of fun getting all "dolled" up for competition. They also had a lot of fun playing with their dog and their talking parrot. (see pics) Our first dance competition was in Logan. They both did a great job. They received tiaras for participation and the dance studio won a lot of awards. We were there all day from 9 am to 530 pm. That is the part that
sucks! Our second competition was in Roy. We weren't there quite as long as the first day, but still awhile. Mammy came with us to this competition. I hope she enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed having her there with us. Here are some more pictures of the girls at dance competition. Now we only have to prepare for the Revue which is at the end of May and then we are done with dance until the fair parade in August.

Well I guess that's enough babble for now. I will have to start blogging more so they don't turn into novels. Next up soccer and Mother's day.

Come and Gone

It's almost as if spring has come and gone. Hopefully it will come back soon as well as other things that have come and gone. It's been a very busy and stressful week here at the Glass household. We have had family parties, birthdays, dance practices and preparations for dance competitions as well as all of the other "normal" things we have to do on a daily basis just to keep up. Sometimes it is way too overwhelming. As I once told my mom, I need to take time to smell the flowers or as she told me often, don't sweat the small stuff. That is hard to remember to do when you are in the middle of everything. Maybe when dance is done, school is out, and summer has come we will have time to just relax!!
One thing relaxing we have done recently is attend an art show at Krystal's school last night. It showcased a bunch of art that Krystal and other students had done while attending an after school art class. The art was very good and Krystal is very creative. I am really proud of her. She accomplishes whatever she sets her mind to. She received a certificate of achievement, sketchbook and color pencils for her reward. Yeah Krystal.
Another recent thing happening at the Glass house is that dad has been laid off work for awhile. While this is not such good news, it is nice to have him home. We enjoy his cooking. He is also doing really well with getting the girls ready for school in the morning including combing their hair. He is a great daddy and we love him. Enough rambling for now. I've got to go smell the flowers.

Yeah! Spring has finally sprung. The weather has been great. The kids want to play outside. I was getting really sick of winter and the snow. I can't wait until everything turns green again.

A blog posted by Krystal.

My dad has been away working for the past couple of days. He got home today and we were so excited. He decided that he wanted to take my Mom to the movie. So, Justice and I got to go to Aunt Melissa's. I have been wanting a blog for a long time. We finally got the internet. I am so excited. Aunt Melissa has been helping me fix our blog page all cute. Don't you love it? I do. She also took some really cute pictures of me and Justice. I'm excited to have a new family blog, I hope you have fun reading about our crazy lives.

New Baby

My cousin recently gave birth to a new baby boy. Leland Anthony Thompson. I think he is one of the cutest babies I've ever seen. Congrats Cecily and Marty.
